Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other national clinical bodies, applicable in various community and workplace situations.

The HLTAID011 course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to provide First Aid in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It is ideal for individuals in various settings, including schools, child care, aged care, healthcare, and workplaces.
Eligibility Requirements:
● Age: 18 years or older
● Basic English, math, and computer skills
● Ability to kneel and perform CPR for two minutes on a dummy
Course Structure:
● Duration: Approximately two days (one day online learning and one day in-person training)
● Delivery Mode: Online self-paced learning followed by a 6 hour face to face session
● Assessment: Written, practical, and scenario-based evaluations
Content Covered: The course addresses critical life-threatening situations, including:
● Cardiac Arrest
● Anaphylactic Shock
● Stroke
● Burns, Concussions, and more
CPR and Emergency Life Support: Training includes CPR and Basic Emergency Life Support (BELS), following the DRSABCD action plan and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
Certification: Participants receive a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011, valid for three years, along with CPR certification that is valid for 12 months.
