EXPRESS CPR (FAST-TRACK REFRESHER)

If you have already completed a CPR course within the last 18 months, you may be eligible to complete our Express CPR program. This allows you to refresh your skills and receive certification quickly.

To qualify, you will need to provide evidence of your previous CPR training, such as: A USI transcript, or A Statement of Attainment (SOA). Once verified, you can complete the Express CPR course and receive your certification

ABOUT EXPRESS CPR TRAINING

All students MUST have a valid USI and provide 100 points of identification to enrol in this course. To ensure your enrolment experience is as swift and easy as possible, please have your Unique Student Identifier (USI) and identification documents ready.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Express CPR Training allows individuals who have recently completed CPR training to refresh their knowledge and quickly renew their certification.

Participants must provide evidence of their previous CPR training before enrolling. Once verified, the course focuses on confirming competency and completing the required practical CPR assessment.

This streamlined process allows participants to update their CPR qualification efficiently without completing the full standard CPR course again.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol in the Express CPR course, participants must:

• Have completed a CPR course within the last 18 months
• Provide evidence of previous CPR training

Accepted evidence includes:

• USI transcript
• Statement of Attainment (SOA)

Additional requirements:

• Provide 100 points of identification
• Have a valid USI (Unique Student Identifier)
• Be physically able to perform CPR on the floor for at least 2 minutes

COURSE STRUCTURE
Verification Before the Session

Participants must provide evidence of their previous CPR training before attending the session.

Once the documentation is verified, participants can attend the Express CPR refresher session.

Practical Assessment

During the session, participants will:

• Demonstrate CPR techniques on a manikin
• Perform 2 minutes of continuous CPR
• Show understanding of emergency response procedures

The trainer will confirm competency according to Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

DURATION

The Express CPR session is designed to be short and efficient, focusing only on practical assessment and skill verification.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Certification valid for 12 months.

COURSE FEES

Express CPR Evening Class – $50

Special fast-track evening refresher session.

Regular CPR Day Course – $89

Includes full training with online learning and classroom session.
